Tiger Run 2016

The Winfield 34 Tiger Run 2016 is a 5k fun run/walk with a 100-yard dash for kids 5 & younger. (Note: An optional shorter route will be available for 5k walkers.) The event will be held on Saturday, April 16th at 8am at Lions Park. This event is open to all Winfield School District 34 staff, students and families.

In order to participate, you must be in good health and physically prepared to run or walk the 5K course. A waiver of liability will be required to be signed for each participant. Skateboards, skates, bikes, etc. are prohibited on the course. Wagons and strollers are allowed in the walk wave of the 5K.

Cost: Winfield 34 Students: Your pledges (min $20) will be your entry fee – see pledge form.
All others (6 yrs & older): Entry Fee = $20
Kids Dash (5 yrs & younger): Entry = FREE

What’s Included: All 5K runners & walkers will receive 1 free raffle ticket and a t-shirt (while supplies last). Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt (while supplies last). NOTE: Kids Dash participants will not receive a raffle ticket or t-shirt.
REGISTER BY THURSDAY, MARCH 24TH TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT.
Registration ends Monday 4/11. Registration on race day is available for an additional $5 fee (for 5K).

Early Check-in will be in the Central School Commons on Thursday 4/14 @ 5-7 pm and Friday 4/15 @ 3-5 pm. Early Check-in is highly recommended to avoid long lines on the morning of the race.

Saturday 4/16 schedule:
Race Day Check-in & Registration = 7:15-8 am ** We recommend utilizing Early Check-in on Thu or Fri, to avoid this on race day!!!
Opening Ceremony = 8 am
5K Run Start = 8:15 am
5K Walk Start = 8:20 am
Kids Dash Start = 9:45 am
Raffle Drawing & Closing Ceremony = 10 am
